Currently most Tanzanian institutions/Organization and Companies are undertaking major reforms in their management systems; party because the business world of today is highly competitive. Companies need to have an edge that makes them stand out from others with the appealing and interests to both the public and the media. The public are the buyers of the products and services, the media are responsible for selling them.

 

Public Relations and Marketing is a growing communication field in which its department is positively challenging and coping with internal and external environment. This Department is responsible for provision of trainings in Public Relations and Marketing, and other programmes related to it such as Advertising, Mass Communication etc.

Modules taught by this department are in different levels among of which are in:

  • Certificate;
  • Ordinary Diploma; and
  • Short Courses for four (4) weeks to four (4) months.

It is the first department in Medium Level Institutions in Tanzania to offer a balanced mixture of Public Relations and Marketing
